With the continued re-evaluation of programs and outreach for this year of Covid, we have decided to change our approach to the annual event Walk For Freedom. In the past we have organized a 5k walk at Quail Ridge Park to raise awareness and finances for fighting human trafficking. This year, due to Covid, we are shifting to a new focus to accomplish the same task. We are taking Walk For Freedom to your neighborhood. Actually, you are! We are challenging our OCC family to engage with your neighbors about fighting human trafficking by inviting them to create a neighborhood walk (you pick the distance) in October to raise awareness and finances. What a great way to have a spiritual conversation with your neighbors while focusing on stopping another pandemic in our world…human trafficking.
