We contribute our time, talents and resources to further the Jesus Mission in our communities and in the world.
OCC SERVE
There are lots of opportunities to serve. OCC is run on the passion and talent of volunteers. From door greeters to baby holders to sound booth operators to class facilitators; here you'll find areas where you can dive in and find your fit. Together we love by serving. If you're unclear where to serve, Growth Track is a great place to discover your design and find out where you can join a team and make a difference.
Kids Church Nursery
Commitment* : Serve 1 month, Off 2 months
Serve babies & toddlers. Rock, sing, and meet the many needs of our newborns and infants.
*Background Check required for all child related ministry
Kids Church Teacher
Commitment** : Sundays for 1 Service (9:00 or 10:40)
Greet kids & facilitate crafts & games designed to go with lesson. Co-Teach (and one day Teach) Bible Lesson.
**Summer's Off, also 3 months on & 3 months off is an option
Musicians & Singers
Commitment* : 1 Sunday a month
Lead, sing, play (drums, guitars, keys, bass, perc. etc.), program electronic tracks, write, record & mix songs.
*Different skill levels welcome, we sit down with you to give next steps
Impact Social Media
Commitment : Twice-a-week Online Posts
Help our parents & students stay up-to-date on Wedn. & Sun. communication, pictures, scriptures, events etc.
*Background Check required for all student related ministry
Impact Tech Team
Commitment : 1+ hour a week on Wedn. Night*
Run sound, lights, video, music & lyrics during Impact Services, help create & shoot videos for Wedn.
*Background Check required for all student related ministry
Impact Girls Leader
Commitment : 1+ hour on Wedn. Night or Sun. Morning
Invest-in and empower high school or middle school girls to grow in their love for Jesus and His love for them.
*Background Check required for all student related ministry
Kidz Point Admin
Commitment : 1 Hour-a-Week @ OCC
Print out Kids curriculum, arrange Kids rooms for Sunday Services, organize & administrate seasonal events with Butch.
Kidz Point Sub
Commitment* : Fill-in last minute when available
Greet kids & help organize crafts & games designed to go with lesson. Facilitate Bible Lesson.
*Background Check required for all child related ministry
